As I await my LSAT scores, I am exploring what seem like thousands of law schools. They have all been looking a like until today. I went to the Career fair today. While there, I talked to a representative from Regent University and the Dean of Liberty Law. Liberty University is located in western Virginia. This is a brand new law school. So there will be risks in going to this school. This school is not ABA acredited yet, but it cannot be accredited until the school as been in existence for a year. The dean of the law school said that they are doing everything to assure ABA accredidation. Also, because of the school's newness, they are giving out good financial packages to attract students. However, I do not think that the finanial packages will be the thing to get me, but instead it would be the Constitutional programs which that is what they want to specialize in. The dean was a constitutional litigator with the 1st amendent. So he was excited that I was into the Constitutional law. I will keep you updated on this process. I just have to think about the risks i will be taking if i decide to attend this school.
